Body Dysmorphic Disorder
Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) is a mental health condition in which a person becomes excessively preoccupied with perceived flaws in their physical appearance that are either minor or not observable to others. This preoccupation causes significant distress and can lead to repetitive behaviors such as mirror checking, excessive grooming, or seeking reassurance. BDD is closely related to obsessive-compulsive disorder.
