Insomnia Disorder
Insomnia Disorder is a sleep condition characterized by persistent difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up too early and being unable to return to sleep, despite having adequate opportunity for sleep. It significantly impairs daytime functioning, causing fatigue, mood disturbances, and difficulty concentrating. Cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) is considered the first-line treatment and is often more effective than medication.
